THE CM SOAPBOX

There’s not enough space here to launch into the whole apostrophe debate, but a quick one to mention is plurals of abbreviations and numbers. If you wouldn’t write thousand’s, why use an apostrophe on 1000s?? Likewise television’s and TVs!!
